Sonia I is the Duchess Regnant of Mëcklewmburg-Wladir since 10 July 2024, when she was installed by her daughter Maria on the Revolution Day. 

Sonia is daughter of Princess Maria and the deseased Prince Joanico. Sonia was born in the city of Barão de Cocais, in the former residence of the Princes. In the late 1990s she met and married the Count Szentjánoshegy, and with him she had a daughter,  Maria I, former Queen of Sildavia and Borduria, and now Grand Duchess of Hochenberg and Hereditary Princess of Mëcklewmburg-Wladir. The couple broke up shortly after the birth of the Hereditary Princess. The Duchess also has two more children from previous relationships, Princess Gabriela and Prince Gabriel, they are not elegible to the line of succession.
